Relationships are built on trust. When we can trust someone, we are safe to open our heart to them and to connect with them. As followers of Jesus, our faith in Him is built on trust. Not in how He trusts us, but in how we can always trust in Him. Because He is true, we are safe to trust in all that He is, all that He does, and all that He says.
When this verse tells us that “our hearts can celebrate,” that is only because we can trust in the Lord. Our trust leads to worship. When we trust Him, we have no reservations or barriers to our heart. A trusting heart will be a worshipping heart.
Put your full trust in Jesus and celebrate His goodness with your worship.
