Our lives are chaotic and ever changing, which means it is important to have consistency when and where we can. It’s easy to strive for that consistency in our routines and schedules, but those often change and can be out of our control.
The only constant in our lives is Jesus. He never changes. When speaking of the Lord in this section of Hosea, the writer urges that we “strive to know the Lord. His appearance is as sure as the dawn.”
Strive to know the Lord today. He is faithful and true and He desires to know you more. As sure as the dawning of a new day is the consistency of our God. Pursue Him today and rest in the surety of His character.
