Grief is a process and it is deeply personal and very unique. Everyone grieves at a different pace and those seasons can often feel very lonely.
One of the long-standing promises of God is that He will never leave or abandon us. In this verse that promise is framed in a very personal way. God tell us that in our times of brokenness, He is nearer to us. He promises that He will draw nearer to us in our pain.
If your heart has been broken, position yourself to experience the nearness God. Let Him save your crushed spirit. God loves you and He is for you. Let your season of grief be a time of enjoying the nearness of God.
