Today was the result of the things we pursed yesterday. Our lives are not the result of haphazardness but of the choices we make every day. We are experiencing that which we are pursuing.
As followers of Jesus, we have access to the Father. We have a new identity which means we will have a desire for the righteousness of God in our lives. As we strive each day to be more like Jesus, we can pursue those characteristics that we find in Him. We can pursue His love, His steadfastness, and His gentleness.
Don’t wander aimlessly through life being a slave to your circumstances. Pursue God and experience the abundant life found only in Him.
