As a follower of Jesus, it is easy to observe all that is happening in the world and become discouraged. Every day it seems the culture is drifting further and further away from the things of God. The core systems established by God of marriage, human sexuality, and the family are being redefined at a cost that is likely catastrophic for future generations. It is so easy to lose hope.
But each day is a new opportunity to share with others the goodness of God and the truth of the gospel. God has not forgotten us and He is always at work among us. It’s our responsibility and joy to share His story and invite others to experience all that He is.
What I have learned in my life is the only thing that can render the gospel ineffective is if I don’t share it. But when we keep telling others the story of God and His love, they will remember Him and return their hearts to Him.
Don’t lose hope. Keep declaring the wonderful deeds of the Lord. He is good.
