One of the joys of following Jesus is the daily intimacy we can experience with Him. As we take time each day to practice spiritual disciplines that draw us nearer to Him, we experience His goodness, His grace, and His kindness. As we grow in maturity in our faith and understanding more of the heart of God, we then see that He is our refuge and our place of comfort and safety.
For those who might be struggling in your relationship with God and struggling to feel a nearness to Him, “taste and see that He is good.” This is a call to experience God and to test Him. If you are not experiencing joy in your relationship with God, lean in closer to Him and trust Him in deeper ways. He will draw close to you as you pursue Him and you will rediscover His goodness.
God loves you and He is for you. Taste and see that He is good!
