We were created to love and serve God. That is our singular goal and calling. Our lives should be ordered to ensure that all we do is honoring and glorifying to Him. A life lived in worship to God is the life we were created for.
Yet it is easy to become tangled in the cares and concerns of others. We value relationships which means we will value the opinions and ideas of others. When we face those moments when we must choose between being concerned with the affairs of the world and the affairs of the Kingdom, we must pray for the courage to choose the Kingdom. As we follow God, we cannot allow the concerns of the culture to keep us from staying focused on God.
Ask God to give you the faith you need to follow Him. Ask Him to help your unbelief. Set your heart to remain focused on God and don’t allow the concerns of the culture to distract you.
