Our faith is not anchored in our feelings but in the finished work of Christ on the Cross. When we choose to follow Jesus by receiving the gift of salvation, we are choosing to be led by the surety of the gospel rather than the uncertainty of our emotions.
The story that we can tell to those in our lives without faith is that Jesus Christ is Lord. We don’t preach and proclaim our goodness, but rather the goodness of God as experienced in Jesus.
Along your journey today, preach and proclaim the goodness of God and the Cross of Jesus. Our story is not about who we are, but about who we are because of Him.
