We were created by God, in His image, and with purpose. While there are unique and specific things God has called each of us to, much of our purpose has already been revealed to us in the Bible. It’s abundantly clear that our purpose is to love God, obey His teachings, and glorify Him with our lives.
A beautiful aspect of our purpose is discovered in this passage when we read, “not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace.” This is good news for us because our works fall short of God’s glory, but His grace has gifted us with all we need to discover and live our purpose.
Even before time began, God created for us a purpose for our lives. He also made a way for our purpose to be discovered in Jesus, who is our hope and Redeemer. Trust God’s plan as you discover and live your purpose.
