Great leaders not only identify problems, but also offer helpful solutions. In Ephesians 4, we read a similar message as the writer not only identifies potential sinful attitudes and behaviors, but also offers Christlike solutions to realign our lives.
Anger, shouting, and bitterness are the identifying behaviors of those who do not yet possess the gospel in their lives. For them, these are the outflow of a heart far from God.
But for those who follow Jesus, we have been set free from such behaviors. Because of the gospel in our hearts, we are called to kindness, compassion, and love. In fact, these should be our identifying behaviors.
Choose today to live out the gospel. Lead with love and kindness. Forgive others and let grace and compassion flow freely from your life.
